How To Treat Burning Sensation In Eyes After Exposure To Gasoline?

my brother in law just had gasoline splashed near his face. he said it dint really get him but a drop or two must have gotten in his eye because it was burning. he rinsed it out with water for a few mins and it stopped burning. should we go to the e.r? it did not seem to be serious, how will it effect his eyesight?

Hi and welcome to HCM,
You did the right thing by flushing your eyes with water. You can by some eye wash, like refresh eye drops and continue flushing your eyes with them for a day. If the irritation persists, or there is deterioration of vision, then better to show to an eye doctor.
