How To Treat Burning Sensation On Left Foot Caused Due To Sprain?

recently sprained my big toe on my left foot. it s been about a week and half, but the swelling has mostly gone down. pain had gone down too, except know i have this burning sensation in the joint almost all the time. could this be signs of a larger issue than a sprain?

You are suggested to get your blood sugar level to see if they are abnormally high. Sometimes high blood sugar level is one of the many causes for such burning sensation apart from Vitamin B deficiency. Sometimes even stretching of nerves may cause such burning sensation and take some time to heal.
