How To Treat Burnt Mouth And Throat?

i burned my mouth on Aug 4 and it is healing with lidocaine hydrochl oral topical. My troat feels like it is closing. I have been to the Dr. Twice. I drank so coffee that was too hot. The ruff of my mouth was a 2 degree burn. My whole month and throat hurt. Anything else I should be taking or doing? Not eating or drinking well. Thank you for your time.

It takes some time for the healing process to occur. In the meanwhile i would suggest you following things:
> Gargle(mouth wash) with tap water (you may add salt in it)
> Icecream and other cold food will give soothing effect.
> Try to avoid hot food (till they become a bit cold)
