I can understand your concern for your symptoms, your husband may be suffering from Phimosis or infection, few reasons for Chapped foreskin.
a. Diabetes
b. repeated Urinary Tract Infection.
c. Trauma
d. Direct Infection
E. Sexually Transmitted Infection.
f. Forceful Masturbation.
g. Change in bath soap
h. Psoriasis. We can investigate to identify the cause for the above reason. Most common above 30 years in Diabetes.
You can do blood investigation for diabetes, a swab from the wound to diagnose the organism and urine test for diagnosis of the organism. And if u have recently changed the bath soap or Shower gel. Use of lubrication Gel (KY Gel) During sex.
