How To Treat Chest Congestion, Coughing And Nausea?

Hi, I have chest congestion and cough along with excessive nausea. I have intermittent fever and has just completed a course of taxim o for similar symptoms one week back..tried steam inhalation and there is still no change.. What should be done next?I am 25 yo female healthy otherwise.

Hello. Thanks for asking Healthcare Magic. It seems that you have an upper respiratory tract infection. I would suggest to change the antibiotic to amoxicillin and clavulanic acid 625 mg two times a day along with an antacid like pantoprazole 40 mg empty stomach once a day for nausea. Also take some cough syrup which has terbutaline and ambroxol in it to relieve congestion along with steam inhalation. i hope this helps. Thanks and wish you a speedy recovery from your illness.
