How To Treat Chipped Edge Of Fibula Due To Twisted Ankle?
I m a young 70 yr. old female and I fell Feb 16 twisted my ankle. my job took me to the doctor and I was told that I chipped the end of the fibula. I have been wearing a boot and a wrap. I have been discharged by the claims department . questions: how long do I wear this boot. I never did stop work and have been walking with the boot ever since it happened.

This decision can only be taken after a x ray picture of the fractured fibula. Fibula is a support bone so you managed without taking rest. Although I always advise my patients 21 days rest. It's more than a month now, so it must have joined now. You just get a x ray and radiologist will confirm it and you can stop using the boots and wrap. If it has not joined completely you have to continue.
