Hi. I am a healthy 24 year old female. I recently starting developing chronic anal fissures about once a month. They weren t a big deal because they would go away after a day or so. A few months ago though the pain got really bad and would not go away. The doctor told me it was a fissure and prescribed suppositories which helped immediately. I recently am experiencing this pain again and today I noticed a bump between my vagina and anus. It isn t painful but about the size of a jelly bean. Is this associated with an anal fissure? I started taking the suppositories again but they don t seem to be helping as quickly as last time. Thanks!
