How To Treat Chronic Back Pain?

I am 68 and very active and have had lower back pain all my life and the last two years plus the pain is hard to tolerate. I don t take pain killers, I ice and go to a chiropractor, but that isn t giving me any relief anymore. Do I see a specialist??

I understand your concern.Chronic back pain can be due to various causes.I would suggest to consult an orthopaedic surgeon to find the cause.Meanwhile you can go with hot fomenation and painkillers like diclofenac along with pantaprazole.once the pain decrease in severity you can go with back strengthening excercises.
