How To Treat Chronic Cough,fever And Ear Infection In Children?
I had my 1 yr. Old son at the doc today for a massive barking cough and a fever of 102. It resulted in a very bad ear infection. But my mommy instincts are telling me the cough is something more. It is a dry barking type of cough and he cries like it hurts every time he does. He also sounds very hoarse. Could it be just due to an ear infection?

from history it seems that he might be having acute respiratory tract infection giving this problem.
Consult your doctor and get examined.
He might require some investigation like Complete blood test or x-ray chest
He might require one course of antibiotic medicine for 5-7 days.
Keep him away from humid and dusty weather.
