How To Treat Clogged Ears And Weird Whitish Discharge From Ears?

my ear has been plugged up for 2 weeks. I have gone to urgent care and the ER nd they said I have an outer ear infection. I got ear drops. I have been using them for 6 days now with no improvement and I have white (skin) coming out of the ear now. It isnt soft, it isnt wax and it doesnt look like infection it looks like skin that has soaked in water to long or like the skin off o blister that has popped

As per your complain blocked ears along with discharge from ears and white skin coming out seems to be most probably due to ear infection along with fluid accumulation behind the eardrum leading to blocked feeling..

I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like otoscopy, x ray etc can help in diagnosis..

He can be advised antibiotic and analgesic ear drops along with oral antibiotics and painkillers and at times manual drainage of ears along with placement of pressure equalization tubes and correction of the perforated eardrum by tympanoplasty procedure can help..
