How To Treat Colon Polyps With History Of Colon Carcinoma And Resection In A 75 Years Old Female?
i was diagnosed with carcinoma colon in dec. 2012. i had a colon resection and was told it was stage 2 in my stomach lining. i had a imaging screen done in dec. 2013. some polyps have developed in the past year. going to recheck me in march 2014 with another imaging to see if anymore have developed. do you agree with this diagnosis? i am a white 75 year old female.
HI Thank for asking to asking to HCM I can understand your worry as long as your case is concern this is the surgical case and in such case the clinical examination and observing imaging reports are very important without this no can say any thing so the question of agree or disagree is out of question but I could say that if this is really polyp then surgical, management is necessary if this does not responds to medical or conservative line of treatment, this is nothing to worry this kind of polyp does not manifest much clinically, hope you can understand this, take care and have nice day.
