How To Treat Constipation In A Toddler, Laxatives Offer Temporary Relief?

My 2 year old son is having constipation. He took laxopeg from 8 th month and now his stools were tight and he normally goes to toilet alternate days only after use of laxative. Please advice me to solve this to solve. Can I use laxopeg higher dose >3350??. Can I use pedia-lax?

I really appreciate your concern, if the age of just two years if passing the stool every after alternate day then it is not the matter of worry but, just try to change the diet, increase the child for drinking water, try to put him on fiber diet.
It is not advisable to put the child on laxative but it is the matter of investigation to find out the cause constipation is important and not the laxative, if the condition persist then it is better to bring the symptom for investigations.
