How To Treat Cough When Diagnosed With Hypertension?
my father is diagnosed with hypertension and his echo report suggest obstructive HCM. treatment is done at SGPGI lko but he is having coughing( wet cough)problem since then... please suggest what to do? plz also suggest some preacutions and daily routine to be followed? medicine he take are metocard xl, ecosprin and amloguard

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the cardiac disease with hypertension and given ACE inhibitor for hypertension then such dry cough could be likely and possibility need to be ruled out here, second it could be allergic one if this is so then no need to treat it, may come around on its own, if this longs last then may needs investigations, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
