How To Treat Dark Skin Patches On Face After Prolonged Hydroquinone Usage?

Due to prolonged use of hydroquinone my skin color looks a kind of grey with large dark patches. The dark patches look like old bruises. In most cases my face looks very dark depending on the way light reflects on my face. I do not know if I suffer from hyperpigmentation or ochronosis or maybe both. What is the most effective and natural way to permanently get rid of this problem. Please help.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain prolonged use of Hydroquinone can lead to Ochronosis that is yellowish to brownish black discoloration of the skin of face and neck k but is a rare disease and needs proper evaluation to confirm and treatment..
On the other hand hyperpigmentation can also occur after Steroid based cream application on face as a side effect..
I would suggest you to consult a Dermatologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like microscopic examination of the specimen from lesion has to be done for confirmation as Onchronosis has a typical pattern of appearance..
In case If Onchronosis is confirmed then you need to keep patience as it can take a long time to improve..
You can be advised treatment like CO2 lazers,Cryotherapy, topical application of Chloracetic acid, Tretinoin gel and chemical peeling sessions can help..
Limit sun exposure..
