How To Treat Diabetic Neuropathy In Legs And Abdomen Causing Swollen Legs And Hands?

diabetic with neuropathy involving both legs, stomach, and intestine. Have recently loss most of my ability to walk. Legs become heavy and fall occur. Unable to get up due to legs being dead. Now having swelling of legs, ankles, and hands. What is this from?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have diabetic neuropathy in legs and abdomen causing swollen legs and hands. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like inflammation in the nerves , genetic factors , smoking and alcohol abuse. I would suggest you to consult neurologist for proper examination . Doctor may filament test , nerve conduction studies , electromyography , quantitative sensory testing or autonomic testing . Doctor may prescribe gabapentin , amitriptyline , anti inflammatory , nerve supplement or medicines to manage digestive and other problems .
