hi doctor,my sister s 18 weeks pregnant.she has diarhea (loose stools).she has taken tabs..now t has nt stopped completly but the times has bee n reduced lik befor consultin doc she had abt 5-6 times loose stools a day but now after tabs taken oly once she went...s t alright??can she have electoral powder???

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion electrol powder is the good subsitute to replenish the fluid lost due to
diarrhea and vomitings.So she can take it.Take adequate fluids upto 2-3 litres.Avoid spicy and oily diet for a few days.
