2 days ago woke up in night with diarrhea , and vomiting. wasn t able to eat much the next day, even though I felt hungry. Yesterday and today my stools are very pale. Stomach still doesn t feel normal get heartburn easily. Didn t have fever. I was in the ountains at a high elevation out west. At first thought I had elevation sickness or dehydration
Thanks for consulting at my virtual clinic. I have carefully worked through your case, and I can realize your health worries. Being your physician, I assure you not to worry as I will take care all of your medical concerns.
If I was your treating physician I would have prescribed you Rifaximin 200 mg thrice a day for 5 days, if not allergic to. You need a prescription from your physician for the same.
If condition worsens, consult a Gastroentrologist for proper evaluation and treatment accordingly.
Hope it helps. If you need further, detailed and quick assistance related to any health issues in future, feel free to 'ask me a question' directly from my profile.
Have a wonderful time ahead.
Best Regards!
