Hello,
Welcome to HCM,

Rabies is a 100% fatal disease which is transmitted by dog bite but it is 100% preventable by proper and adequate treatment.

As there was no bleeding according WHO Categorized into Cat II, Which requires local wound treatment with soap and water and active immunization with anti rabies vaccine on days 0,3,7,14 and 28.

There is no food restriction while on treatment. If you are a smoker or alcoholics you need to stop as it may interfere with production of antibody titres.
Thank you.
