Hi,

The olive oil is an interesting idea, washing your hair once a day with warm (but not hot) water is very okay as well. However, you should change in the shampoo you use. You need one of the mildest which are available. These are most commonly found among the shampoos for children. I use that type of shampoo myself because even doctors can have similar issues.

So you may try that and skip the conditioner. The olive oil is neither harmful nor otherwise concerning. However, I wouldn't use it every day since your skin needs nothing more than fresh air. These small things combined should help to reduce the irritation and dryness of your skin. Regarding the lumps I would need to see a photo of them. If these are growths of any kind you should show them to your family doctor in order to make sure that it’s nothing serious.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
