Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, my daughter has erb s palsy on her left arm due to being born breech. There was no fracture as well as no tearing. She has regained a lot of movement in that arm any specialist has just been keeping an eye on her so far. She is 3 months old and my real question is, is there any way to prevent her arms from growing at different speeds as well as anything I can do at home to help her regain full movement?
She needs to undergo physiotherapy and if the biceps function returns in 6 months then it is better prognosis for recovery. If not, she needs muscle transfer surgery.
