How To Treat Excessive Phlegm?

Hi, my age is 30 and i have a problem phelgm drips into my throat for this reason i need to spite every time its increases specially after taking meal like after lunch,dinner and breakfast i did not take any medicine yet, i dont know what it called post nasal drip or what i hope you can understand what i want to say kindly suggest me what should i do to overcome my this problem its almost since five years but now its increases and i cant handle it more kindly suggest me thanks.......

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns.

As per your complain it seems that you are suffering from chronic post nasal drip and it can be due to causes like chronic upper respiratory tract infection, allergies, chronic sinusitis,deviated nasal septum, side effect of certain medication etc..
I would suggest you to consult an Otolayngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations as per suspected cause can help in diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly..
You can be advise antibiotics for infection..
In case if it is due to allergies anti allergics like Levocetrizine or Benadryl along with voiding exposure to allergen can help..
Taking Mucolytics and steam inhalations can help..
Saline nasal irrigations and using a humidifier in your room can further help..
