How To Treat Extreme Fatigue Inspite Of Taking Plavix And Crestor?
My husband 67 was in excellent shape but suffered a brain stem ( pons area ) stroke after an exercise class. He is six months into recovery and has done very well. His left side weakness is improving, can walk 2 miles but suffers from extreme fatique and requires much rest . He takes Altace , Plavix and crestor. No cause for the stroke was found . Please comment on the fatique . He would love to play tennis again.
In your case, as you are taking Remipril also, therefore, high BP may be one of the aggravating factor for your stroke. Though not very debilitating, but early tiredness can be found frequently with all the 3 drugs you are taking. Also feeling of low energy may be a feature of Rosuvastatin.
However, most of the times, all these side effects are transient and may resolve themselves with time. However, if these side effects do not go away themselves and are troubling you, then you are advised to see your doctor, who can decide to wean you from one or more medicines & replace your treatment with some other salt.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
