How To Treat Fever And Ear Infection Of Child?

My two years old child is having a fever . She has a ear infection . Her temperature is at 101 . We just gave her a fever reducer mediation (fever all ... Supodepository) at what temperature should we take her to the emergency? What should we do to lower her fever?

As per your complain it seems that your child has fever secondary to ear infection and giving only fever reducer will not relieve the symptoms completely..
You should consult a Paediatrician and get her evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like Otoscopy and blood tests can help in confirmation of cause and treatment can be planned accordingly..
The physician can advise her to take antibiotics like Augmentin, anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen, fever reducer like Acetaminophen..
You can also be advised antibiotic ear drops..
Avoiding excessive water exposure to ears like swimming should be done as it can also cause exaggeration of infection..
You should also avoid her exposure to very loud sounds..
Give her ample of rest and a nutritious diet..
