How To Treat Fever With Appetite Loss,vomiting And Severe Cough In A 2 Years Old Child?

My 2 yr old has had want the pedi said was a virus. She has ran fever on and off for 2 weeks now. She has no appetite and has been irritable. She now can not quit coughing. She has vomited 3 time this evening from coughing so much. What can I do to help her.

First we will have to identify what is the cause of that cough. It could be because of other causes like bronchial asthma or tuberculosis. Based on the cause further treatment should be given.

Investigations like CBC, Mantoux, X ray chest etc may be required after a proper physical examination to identify the cause.
