How To Treat Fibroid During Pregnancy?

I recently had a scan. They told me i have one fibroid at the fundus measuring 5.3 X 3.2. I am 15w pregnant. Wont the fibroid affect my pregnancy or wont it make me have complications during delivery? Can i be able to give birth normally. I am worried. I have been reading about fibroids online and there is where they said during degeneration one is likely to get a miscarriage btn 12 - 20 weeks. Please advise me accordingly.

thank you for contacting HCM.
congratulations for would be mother.

fibroid during pregnancy be tricky. some times they grow and some times they stay same. there could be trouble if they grow

good thing is most pregnant women with fibroid do not have any complications during the pregnancy related to fibroids.

there also appears to be slightly increased risk of complications such as miscarriage, preterm labor and abnormal fetal position. these are rare.

hope this helps you. take balanced diet, multivitamins and folic acid during the pregnancy. exercise regularly. hope everything goes well.
