What steps need to take in curing this fracture and how long would it take? Is your service free? Please let me know. Thanks Yoosef Shahabasi

General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. If impacted fracture then immobilisation with splint or brace for 6 weeks will be helpful to consolidate the fracture. But if there is displacement in fracture or not stable then K wire fixation will be helpful. If you send your X ray then I can comment more about it. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
