How To Treat Frequent Urination And Blood In Urine While Treating UTI?
My Mom was just diagnosed today at the ER with a UTI. She just saw blood in her urine and is having lower abdominal pressure along with frequent urination that seems to get worse at night. The ER doctor prescribed her an antibiotic that she s only take one of so far. I was just wondering if it is advisable that she return to the ER?

Hello,
It is a part of UTI itself. Continue antibiotics and drink plenty of water. Generally the symptoms will settle in a couple of days. An ultrasound scan is required to look for any stones.
