General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Welcome to HCM and thanks for posting your question.
Frostbite can be treated in following way:
1. Warm the affected area in water for 15 to 30 min.
2. Remove blusters by draining clear or milky fluids. Cover them with tropical antibiotic cream and petroleum jelly.
3. Don't remove blisters that contain blood.
4. Splint and elevate affected area.
5. Apply loose bandage.
6. Take ibuprofen to prevent inflammation and antibiotics to prevent infection.
Give sufficient time to heal and to come back to normal.
