General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI,
Welcome to HCM,
I read your query and i appreciate your concern regarding this issue.
As per details you are diabetic, First of all maintain good control of your blood sugar level which is very necessary for wound healing.
And secondly you are suffering from it since last one year, so I would not suggest you to treat it at home with any topical medication.
I would Advise you to visit hospital,as there is blackening of your wound which is not a good sign at all. According to my knowledge your wound should be cleaned surgically or it need surgical cleaning.
Visit hospital as soon as possible.

Hope so it will be helpful.
You can write again in case of any query or follow up.
Wish you good health.
