How To Treat Fungus That Has Caused Itching Bumps On Arms And Legs?

My husband is waiting for an appointment with the local dermatologist. For the past month or so he has had these red, non itching bumps on his arms and legs. We went to urgent care and they said it was a fungus, but medicine hasnt worked, has actually gotten worse. Any ideas what this may be.

Hello,
Welcome to HCM,
These fungal infections can be treated my
1.Keep the area dry and clean
2.Apply Antifungal cream on the rashes
3.Oral antihistamines
If the symptoms are persisting for longer period of time they may require oral antifungal drugs.
I would suggest you to consult your dermatologist for through examination and find out the exact cause for the itching.
After identifying the root cause the management will be easier.
Thank you.
