Gall bladder stone if obstuct the bile flow or if there is an infection at gall bladder due to stone it creates pain. The pain though commonly occurs at right upper abdomen, may radiate to shoulder tip or left side of abdomen. But a right sided upper abdominal tenderness is likely to be present. You have not mentioned the size and number of the gall stone. Smaller stones can be treated medically in a conservative manner. But frequently it needs a operation to getting the stones out in case of larger sized and a complicated one.
