General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The clicking hip sound means there is lack of normal hip joint fluid, which is normally happening at your age 76 years old. You can take Glucosamine supplement for at least 6 months and see how your body reacts. If you won't feel better, then, should see orthopedic specialist for further evaluation.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
