General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Its a very common condition and there is nothing to worry about it. I would advise you to visit a surgeon and get it surgically removed which is a minor surgery. Before you undertake surgery, you must get few conditions ruled out for the cause. Most commonly its just deposition of fat over the area however getting other reasons ruled out is a must.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Anoop Kumar, General & Family Physician
