Something punctured the bottom of my foot. No bleeding that I noticed. I didn t even feel it when it happened. But the next day I had pain walking on it without shoes or socks. It feels like a hard bump or cyst formed around it. No sharp pain when push on injury. No pain while wearing shoes. A little with socks. And especially without. No signs of infection. It is not getting worse. But it has been 4 weeks with no signs of improvement. I did not and can not feel or see any foreign matter. What can I do to help it heal?
Hi. As per your case history you are having Lipoma. My treatment advice is - 1. Don't squeeze the lesion as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it. 3. Only curative treatment is excision under local anesthesia done by a dermato-surgeon.
Thanks. Dr. Harshit bhachech. MBBS, DDVL.
