How To Treat Headache While On Medication For Rheumatoid Arthritis?

I am taking Prednisone (20 mg per week) and Methetrexate (25 mg per week) for Rheumatoid Arthritis (newly diagnosed). I have a headache and need to know if I can take Tylenol Extra Strenth Caplets (2) or if I can take Advil Liqui Gels (2). Thank you. Sue.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The intake of either Tylenol extra strength or Advil is both equally effective for headache relief as per the individual characteristics. There are no interactions of either of the same with methotrexate or
Prednisolone. It is best recommended to consume the same after food to avoid drug induced gastric upset.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
