I had two brain surgeries to cure a Trigeminal neuralgia. Both failed. But during reopening the hole for the second surgery, a nerve in the hole area was damaged permanently. Since then, I get headaches, especially at night, when I turn around and fall on the right (the injured side of the head.) There are other side effect, one of them a sharp pain in the top of right eyeball. The surgeon himself said nothing could be done. But a neuro-ophthalmologist said killing the nerve is the last resort, even though he wouldn't recommend it for the fear of facial numbness. Does killing the nerve causes facial numbness?
Respectfully,
