How To Treat Headaches And Sinus Infection-like Symptoms Caused By Nose Piercing?
Got my nose pierced around 3months ago and immediately felt constant pain the hole bled for some time and I started to have really bad headaches. .....developed an abscess over the ring about a month ago and soothed it with a warm cloth.,,,I then burst the boil and the headaches got worse...developed menigitis (viral) and spent 3days in the hospital....at this point im still having headaches around the same section where the ring is feels like a sinus infection but its mainly headache on one side around the nose ring.........Should I just take out the ring?????

Regarding your concern, I would explain that the presence of the ring could be another source of infection.
You are being treated for a serious infection (which is meningitis) and the cause of all this troubles is the ring.
Now, you are probably taking antibiotics, but as the ring is there, it may be a possible cause of recurrent infections.
So, I would strongly encourage you to take off the ring and not to put it in the future.
