How To Treat Heavy Bleeding Caused After Prolonged Delay In Periods?

I am 47yrs and my periods stop from June till last month but then last week Wednesday I got my periods.The first two days it s was slow and after that I am experiencing heavy bleeding which I had before my periods stop in June. It s really heavy and I can t even hold on to one pad for one hrs . Why do u think this is happening and what should I do

Hi, i do care for your concern.
Your history suggest of peri menopausal symptoms. Heavy bleeding may be due to change in hormonal levels.
Taking hormonal tablets would ease the symptoms.
I would advise to consult your gynec to get ruled out other symptoms by doing ultrasound, and get hormonal medicine.
