How To Treat Herniated Disc In Lower Back Inspite Of Using Cortisone?

Hi I have herniated disc L5 And S1 . Had the cortisone shot it did not help at all also My lower back hurt on both sides the L5 is herniated on both sides . The left side is 5.5mm and the right side is 3mm I don t know what to do .i am in pain . I need to find a good doctor to do the surgery for me in Las Vegas area please advice

Welcome to HCM. Sorry about the pain, please note that if the cortisone shot did not hit the nerve area then it will not help, at times this has to be placed under imaging if a blind injection fails, that is what I would ask for, I hope this helps, good luck and thanks.
