Hi I have a cold and my voice is gone I ve been drinlking a lot of vitamin C and the weather is very cold im not sure if it has anything to do with my lips my top lip has a red ring around it its kinda irritated because I scratched it and it s like dead skin and always dry

Staying hydrated by drinking plenty of water and avoiding caffeine and alcohol is the most important. Taking vitamin C is good and also using a high quality chap stick can be helpful. As far as losing your voice, staying hydrated and resting your voice are the most helpful. Losing your voice, laryngitis, can be caused by viruses or allergies. Rest, drink water and keep lips moistened.
