Hi...my family doctor has recommended that I see a sleep doctor and/or Neurologist for my inability to sllep more than 4 hours a night..i am 70 and this has been a problem for only the last 2 years..i am otherwise pan free and generally in good healthy
Exercise daily. Ensure you get involved into physical activity. Do not take nap in afternoon. Do not watch television before going to bed. Take warm water bath, head massage with oil may be helpful. Milk before bed may be beneficial. Practice pranayam. If you have any pending issues, try to write down in a diary and close down the loops , so these thoughts will not bother you and may help in keeping your mind calm. Avoid stimulants like smoking and alcohol. Hope this may be helpful.
