How To Treat Intense Abdominal Pain While Treating Pancreatic Cancer?
My husband had susrgery on pancreas for cancer--was not able to remove the tumor-- received a call today that his colon shows air in it (CT scan) and to watch for severe pain which may be a rupture. I need more details on what to watch for. He ate a little more today--spread out- and pain seems worse. Charlotte
Post any abdominal surgery one needs to balance the diet and that is advised during the discharge. I think his pain is due to having a full stomach meal. Having 1/2 or 3/4 of the meals is good then having full. Using the hot water fermentation will help improve the digestive process and pain will come down. Also, for the colon issue need to have a word with the gastroenterologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
