How To Treat Itching And Burning In The Vaginal Area?

I woke up this morning with itching and burning in the vaginal area, so I went and got monistat for a yeast infection, but within the last couple hours I am now experiencing swelling of the whole vaginal and pain when wiping after going to the bathroom like someone is ripping my skin off and painful to sit and walk. Should I go to the ER or what can I do?

Hi

I have gone through your query, i will try to give you suggestion which will be helpful to you.
As you have swelling of entire vaginal area it could be secondary to infection. I advise you to take antiinflammatory drug and apply calamine lotion locally and consult your doctor as soon as possible.
I hope this suggestion might be of some help to you. I will be glad to help you in case if you have any further queries.

Wish you speedy recovery. Take care.
