Hi,

Since you are pregnant, the cause of elevated liver enzyme can be related to pregnancy induced jaundice. Yet it is very important to get other tests related to hepatitis and ultrasound of abdomen done. Your Gynecologist can tell which medicine for itching can be safe for you and your baby at the 8 months of pregnancy, Cetirizine can be given after consulting your gynecologist. You may need additional medications after consulting for a second opinion of a gastroenterologist. You can have normal food if alkaline phosphatage and GGT are normal.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
