How To Treat Itchy And Painful Rash Between Thigh And Scrotum?
I am 60 years old. I developed an itchy, moist and painful rash on the skin between my right thigh and scrotum about three months ago. It now emits an odor. I get some temporary relieve after using Dermovate Clobetasol Propionate. I shower regularly, wear cotton underwear and change them every day.

Itchy rashes between the inner thigh & scrotum that are painful & have bad odour are commonly caused by fungal infections.
Inner thighs are areas of limited air flow & are warm & moist, thus a place for breeding of bacteria & fungus.
You are suggested to take good care of your personal hygiene, avoid sharing personal items.
Take regular bath with temperate water, keep your private area clean & dry. Wear loose fitting cotton clothes & change clothes when you get sweaty.
Pat dry your private area and apply antifungal ointment like Clotrimazole or miconazole cream in the area affected.
Take a course of antifungals(fluconazole) orally. You can take non sedating antihistamines, they effectively control itching & discomfort.
