Hi, Yesterday, I applied hydroquinone to treat malesma and after twenty minutes, I put sunscreen of SPF 50 neutrogena. After about an hour, I noticed redness (rash) on the spots I applied (forehead and cheek bones). It was not itchy yesterday but today it is itchy, irratation and saw small tiny yellow stuff with the rash. What should I do?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
It looks like an allergic reaction you were using. The first thing to do is not to use this products anymore. Secondly any antihistamines like Benadryl, Citerizine, Ketotifen can help reduce rush and itching. Also you can use cream with Corticosteroids and antibiotic to reduce rush and prevent infection maybe cream with Betamethszon and Gentamicine. Keep yourself in observation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
