I have left knee pain all of a sudden after sitting on the couch. It is difficult to walk or put weight on my knee. No injury to the knee. I did injured my left knee back in July 2014. it pop after i tried to sit back on my knees. no swelling just pain.
Hi, Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you had knee pain all of a sudden after sitting on the couch. It seems to me soft tissue injury . But X-ray should be done to exclude osteoarthritis. Its treatment assuming soft tissue injury is rest to part. Icing is helpful. Analgesic (ibuprofen) will be helpful in pain relief , if pain relief not there by it then strong analgesic such as tramadol can be taken. You can take vitamin B-complex and C to promote healing.MRI of knee joint will be of use to study injury in detail and better management. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care.
