Hallow Dear,

What makes you think that you have yeast infection?

Yeast infection causes curdy flaky white vaginal discharge which causes immense itching of the vulva. It may cause swelling of the private parts also.

Though yeast infection (monaliasis or candidiasis) gets sexually transmitted, it is not the only route of this infection. It is found in commode users also. Unhygienic habits also are responsible for this infestation. Any condition where body immunity is compromised, yeast infection crops in.

Local application of antifungal vaginal pessaries will help you cure this infection. This infection is many at times complication of antibiotics use as they destroy Lactobacilli from the vagina which are normal natural protective inhabitants of vagina. Hence, putting Lactobacilli pessaries in the vagina will speed up recovery. Lactacyd wash will help to regain vaginal flora and pH also. The treatment should be taken simultaneously by both the partners to avoid recurrence.

Along with the medicinal treatment, please follow following instruction:

1. Observe complete sexual abstinence till both of you are declared completely cured.
2. Shave the parts clean
3. Clip the nails short
4. Use panty liners (for you)
5. Boil underwear daily

I am sure this will help you.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if the condition is not responding to the fungal infection then this may not be skin disease and could be some nonspecific swelling, as long as the skin disease are concern diagnosis important and for that clinical examination is equally necessary, without the diagnosis you can not treat the condition on your own, now just wait for some time this would be fine, hope this information helps, take care.
