I m 30years old..I can t bend my left leg forward since march 2015...my mri report says it is due to left femur head inflammation...hlab27(flow cytometry) negative..esr- 40mm, crp(q)- 17.85mg/l....orthopedic dr. confirm bone tb..now I m having akurit4 tablets since june....still I m having pain..and cannot bend my hip......
Hello. This seems to be infection but esr rises higher than the value you mentioned. But if the pus culture has been done then it might be tb. Anyway if u have started the medicine then you must continue it for nine to twelve months . U must not worry as this infection takes time to settle down. After completing the course. U must an xray and visit orthopedic surgeon again for review but don't miss even a single dose otherwise u May develop resistance against the infection. For pain u may use painkillers and do regular physio therapy. Meeting a physiotherapist may be a good idea. Hope that answer the question. Thanks
