Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

If you have very severe leg pain then you can do take painkillers like paracetamol, ibuprofen, diclofenac, tramadol, etcetera. These medicines will give you temporary relief but since you say you have osteoporosis then they would have supplemented you with estrogen if you are women.

If you take estrogen then you won't have much pain at all. So, kindly get clear with the physician if you can take it or not. If your condition is treated then I don't think you will have any problem at all later.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Archana
